A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ORTHODONTIC ASSISTANT
As an Orthodontic Assistant, you develop positive relationships with patients while providing exceptional orthodontic care. No two days are the same as you assist your team with treating our patient's clinical needs. When a patient sits in your chair, you make them feel comfortable and chat with them about how their teeth feel. You then assist our doctors with whatever needs to be done, performing tasks such as orthodontic adjustments, wire changes, intra-oral scanning, bonding brackets and aligner attachments, and clear retainer fabrication.
Keeping a steady hand, you also perform intraoral scans and take x-rays to get a clearer picture of our patient's teeth. After every appointment, you help sterilize equipment to make sure all tools are ready for the next patient. Eager to grow, you strive to learn from our doctors and develop your skills. You will love the feeling of helping others and you will find joy in putting beautiful smiles on our patient's faces!
