A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ORTHODONTIC ASSISTANT

As an Orthodontic Assistant, you develop positive relationships with patients while providing exceptional orthodontic care. No two days are the same as you assist your team with treating our patient's clinical needs. When a patient sits in your chair, you make them feel comfortable and chat with them about how their teeth feel. You then assist our doctors with whatever needs to be done, performing tasks such as orthodontic adjustments, wire changes, intra-oral scanning, bonding brackets and aligner attachments, and clear retainer fabrication.

Keeping a steady hand, you also perform intraoral scans and take x-rays to get a clearer picture of our patient's teeth. After every appointment, you help sterilize equipment to make sure all tools are ready for the next patient. Eager to grow, you strive to learn from our doctors and develop your skills. QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ORTHODONTIC ASSISTANT (RDA)

• Dental assisting experience preferred, but not mandatory
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to work as part of an amazing team

Dental assistant certification would be preferred, but we will consider applicants currently pursuing certification. The ability to speak Spanish would be a plus. WORK SCHEDULE FOR AN ORTHODONTIC ASSISTANT

This position typically works Monday - Thursday, making every weekend a 3-day weekend!
